Eggs and other things...

An interesting tidbit of information I received at a class I took this weekend. The speaker said,"....eggs are the menstrual cycle of a chicken." Out of everything I learned this weekend, that stuck oh so well in my memory banks. Ugh!! I really mean UGH!!! The idea that we eat the menstrual cycle of any animal is a little gross, to say the least.
As I ponder on this, I wonder why... all throughout my life I would just stop eating eggs... wouldn't want them even cooked in my presence... oh, especially if I was sleeping then was woke up by the smell of eggs... you definitely got a grumpy girl that morning. Well, that's it.. ! It's becoming more and more apparent that I will be digging my heels into this Vegan lifestyle even more. NO milk, NO cheese and NO EGGS! (period... no pun intended)
I find it funny how we (I) discover more and more information about the processed foods we eat and how very harmful chemical processed foods are or even repulsive in origin and try to share that info, that many people just don't want to hear about it. They are completely content with their ignorance. How is that? Why would anyone want to remain dumb (there was just no other way to word that!)?
... if it were bad, why would they sell it to me. Wake up people!.. the government knows just how deadly smoking is and even tell you or offer you aids to quit (which is just another ploy to get your money) and it's still legal to sell cigarettes, cigars and pipe tobacco. What?!! What is really going on here? It is so obvious yet everyone, including myself have been blinded. Blinded by what you say?? Trusting the untrustworthy!
If you don't take anything from this post, please take an interest in where your foods are coming from, how they are processed and who's preparing them. Get an education and don't be so afraid of change. Change may hurt, maybe uncomfortable and even suck in transition but it can be oh so good.

My change has come and I am so glad for it!

Week 6

It's been a few days since my last post. I've been feeling really tired for the past 4 days. It started when I added the Fortune Delight to the mix. That's the stuff that cleans the blood of free radicals and toxins in the fat. The foods have been really working in my system and we know when we sleep that's when the body can really repair itself so there you have it.... I am under some heavy repairs. Today hasn't been so bad.. I am feeling more energized and more eager to wrestle around with my hubby so we both see that as a good sign. (hehe)

I was driving earlier this week, I saw an older woman walking with some difficulty like there was more going on then I could see and a thought came over me... I wondered how many health problems I could be avoiding now that I am taking Whole Food Nutrition. I am excited about wanting to share and eager for my results to be great but I am really having a heart change that I just didn't expect. I sincerely want to tell everyone I know about this so that they can have this great opportunity too, to be healed by the food of the land. What a concept! It's just something that I have never heard in the same sentence before... that I can be healed by what foods I put in my mouth. It is almost mind blowing to think just how many drugs have been crammed down my throat by me or by the doctor trying to take care of this or that when all I needed was nutrition! UGH!! I want to be mad but I just can't (like I said, feeling pretty good today)... I don't think many people know about this and the ones that do that can make a difference won't because pharmaceutical militia is the Kingpin of the arena.
Oh well, enough of my ranting.... I am feeling crazy good today and want to get a jump on my day. The picture above was taken of me this morning. I am 15lbs lighter all together. I seem to losing more inches then actual pounds lately. The process is slow but at least it's moving... I am thankful.

My Hubby...

On the way home last night, he told me," ...you know I've been drinking the Calli, right?" I said,"uh huh." He says," When I 1st started, my head filled with a lot of pressure and I had all this snot and sleep in my eyes and coughing up stuff. I thought to myself,' Man this stuff works! I almost wanted to stop drinking it and go get me a burger!'" (He was just kidding!)

We both laughed about it... I knew right where he was coming from. These Sunrider foods are taking us to another level of nutritional reality that's uncharted and so very definite. Like my incident with cheese, I have never heard anything about cheese or any dairy products being mucus causing. I often wondered why I would have so many problems when I consumed dairy but just chalked it up to "age".

We are now being educated and are educating ourselves about nutrition and the right balance of it. It's exciting and a little scary at the same time but I got to see it through and how I will transform. I officially have lost a total of ... 14.5lbs to date! It's only been 5 weeks that I have been on the Sunrider foods and there is already a huge difference!

Peace and Love!

So the scales says...

Got on the scale this morning feeling a little more optimistic and discovered that I am 2 lbs lighter. Don't blame it on the bread, don't blame it on the cheese, blame it on the Sun sa sun sun sun sunrider, blame it on the Sun sa sun sun sun Sunrider! Ha ha ha ha! Love it... (hopefully when you read it you added the beat of Jaime Fox 1 night hit.. Don't Blame it on the.... .) I love his voice just wish he did more with it... anyways. Yahoo, another 2lbs. I know it's water that has been trapped in me but it is nice to see the change. It was just the little bit of encouragement that I needed.

Happy Wednesday and Happy St Patty's Day to all my fellow Irish peeps! Yeah, there is a such thing as Black Irish. :)

Well.... !

I have to be completely honest. I hit a wall. I had one of the most dis-encouraged days since I started this journey. Let me start a little closer to the beginning....

About 2 days ago, my husband and I went on a walk to help get some blood flowing and burn off some extra calories (basically, squeezing the sponge). I get it in my mind to have a Cannoli from a local Italian Restaurant on the way home.. I figured I better have one before my taste buds for sugar completely leave... well, too late. They are gone! The chocolate was bitter and the sugar from the filling laid flat in my mouth. It was truly a sad day for me, I guess I didn't realize how much the Sunrider foods would change me and just how fast it would happen.
Today, after waiting a little too late to get some substance in me, I decided to stop off at Henry's but some cheese and make myself a delicious and well deserved Eggplant sandwich... hmmmm, my favorite! I figured I have given up so much, maybe even too much and that I could at least have a little cheese from time to time. Now grant it, I have watched all the seminars from Sunrider and have read countless articles on alkaline vs. acidic foods to know better on this move but I just had to see for myself. Milk is a no-no for me anyways but I have always indulged in cheese. I just love cheese.
We went for our evening walk in beautiful Coronado. The ocean breeze, the starry sky, tourists and quaint little shops are all a must experience. Everything seemed fine, I was feeling a little bloatie but I just dismissed it as I must of had 1 too many bites at dinner...all of a sudden, almost with no warning... my delicious Eggplant sandwich was backing out the way it came in and there was nothing I could do about it.... I ran off the main drag and let it go... cheese cheese and more cheese. I must have nibbled on about 3 pieces of Swiss before placing 2 nice slices on my lovely sandwich.  I know, this is a bit graphic and I am not trying to be gross but this is a blog about my journey on Sunrider and this is apart of that journey.
What I have read and have been schooled by my adoring husband is that DAIRY IS MUCUS CAUSING (Drinking a cup of milk is like drinking a cup of mucus. Cheese has this quality 100-fold, being concentrated milk. It takes about 4-5 quarts of milk to make a pound of cheese) and Calli is the mucus police or should I say a cleanser (While many of the undesirable elements we take into our body are quickly eliminated, others are not....the unique herbal extracts in Calli® assist in the body's natural cleansing processes.)... there was a war and the cheese lost.
Well as soon as the ordeal was over, I felt much better. My tummy is not so bloatie and I don't feel so stuffed. Funny.... what we eat really does make a difference. It's just crazy how fast it all happened.

Ok Sunrider... I can do this!!! Bring it on!!!!!

My Bracelet...

Just wanted to let you know that I really liked the bracelet I bought at a jewelry party. It's the style that I love but I haven't worn it as often as I'd like because it fit so snug around my wrist. I tried to tell myself and others,'Oh they made this too small... or I naturally have large wrists so it fits a little snug.' (Looking back, that's a laugh. Funny, how we try to convince ourselves that they we are is how we are suppose to be. Sad really.)
A few times I thought to give it back and try another item but there wasn't much that I liked as much as I liked it so I kept it thinking I would squeeze into it on special occasions and when I wore something with a long sleeve so it wouldn't show so much.
Well good news....
I put that beautiful bracelet on today and it has a little space on either side. I almost can't believe it. I am so happy. I actually am losing the weight all over. I can fit the bracelet comfortably and I am so crazy happy about it. This Sunrider Whole Food Nutrition is really working. In conjunction with healthy food choices, this is becoming an amazing adventure. I am not only losing weight but it's helping my facial problems clear up... I could shout. Though this is going to be a long process, just seeing some clearing has given so much hope that it will one day soon be a distant memory of a horrible nightmare.

I had to share... I am stupid happy and crazy thankful. Thank you Jesus!

So Far...

Well, I have only been Sunriding for a month but I have had some significant and noticeable changes. I should start off by naming my ailments and then you can compare for yourself as to what has been going.

First off, Sunrider Foods are just that, food in their most concentrated and whole form. The whole point to this is to become nutritionally balanced, healed and whole. It is truly a God-send into my life and so many others.

I have PCOS, which is a hormone disorder in women that is also a leading cause of infertility. Other symptoms of PCOS include increased weight, increased facial hair, skin problems (ie acne), and irregular or absent ovulation, aka Hormonal Imbalance. If it is not treated, over time it can lead to serious health problems, such as diabetes and heart disease. Besides that, I have some arthritis in my back, knee and arms/hands. These are some real issues for me and as I rapidly am approaching 40, I know that I have to start taking better care of myself... but how?
I seemed to have tried everything with no lasting success.  Weight Watchers, Make Over America, Vegetarian, Peskatarian, Fiber Pills, Lemonande Cleansing Diet, Walking, Running (yeah right!), Pilates, Yoga, Starving and on and on until I just decided that this must be what was meant for me. I am to go through life, over weight, hairy and childless with routine Chiro visits to align my back and hips. This was my pity party, daily.
Now I can see some light at the end of the tunnel. Sunrider foods are making a difference in my life. Though it's only been a month, I have lost 10lbs (effortlessly), my complexion is clearing (noticeably), my back is not aching and my knee has been just a little more tolerable to activity whereas, I couldn't walk up a flight of stairs without a limp, no I speed walk everywhere I go. I seem to have so much more energy and I am sleeping much better then before, I actually feel rested.
I still haven't had any changes in my ovarian cysts ( I haven't noticed anything but I have had some slight cramping which is a good signs as I haven't had my cycle in 4 months) and facial hair is still my struggle but I have faith that it too will alleviate.
I take 3 NuPlus, 1 Calli (gallon throughout the day), 3 Quinary. It is my regimen daily. It was a bit of a struggle to try to drink a gallon of Calli in 1 day but I am finally getting the hang of it.

Quinary® supplement helps maintain health rather than waiting for the body to malfunction. It addresses the body's systems collectively as well as individually. Although it is very difficult to achieve with a formula as complex as this one, our blended herbs are maintained without preservatives or synthetic chemicals.

This is my daily balance and attribution to my personal health and well being. I have been for years addressing issues of my outside and not my inside. What makes sense to me in this program is that we must be healthy inside to look healthy on the outside.
Thank you Lord for hearing my cries and directing me to Sunrider. I am feeling better and I know it's only going to go up from here.
