My Testimony.... a long time coming!

Feeling like Pinocchia for years because I wanted so badly to be a regular girl with a regular sized body, regular menstrual cycle and the oppty to be a mother... just like any woman. Those desires seemed to be out of reach to me for many years.
Me before Sunrider at my heaviest!
Having been diagnosed with PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome or disease) was a real eye opener because it not only left me infertile but was leading me down a path toward Diabetes, Heart Attack, Stroke and High Blood Pressure. Besides all of that, I hadn’t had a consistent menstrual cycle for at least 8 to almost 9 years. If I were ovulating, I never knew it!
I didn’t know that the food I was eating the very culprit in my situation. All the doctors said and all that I would read would tell me to lose weight lose weight lose weight.... but how??! I really thought I was eating a healthy diet.... the basic food groups and as the movies and commercials suggest, had dessert after my meals... because I was worth it. Heck I worked that day... why not??!
Hah!
One late late night maybe even early morning I was working on my website and a commercial came on with Father Nature talking about alkaline and acidic foods, dense whole food nutrition and ph balance. Honestly it got my attention because it was something I had never really heard of before that night.
I called the number and a very bubbly, energetic woman called me back. I was almost put off by her sunny disposition but listened to what she said anyways.... she really got my attention when she asked me WHEN I WAS GOING TO WATCH THE DVD.... she must have a date so that she could follow up with me... huh...I agreed to watch it no later than Thursday night and if I were interested I’d let her know... like I was controlling something.

Anyways the DVD came as promised, my husband who I had mentioned some of what I learned to the night before was very excited to see that it came so quickly. He dropped his work bag, got a glass of water and told me to join him on the couch so we could watch it together. I laughed but obeyed. We both we astounded by what the Plain truth DVD had to offer... we actually learned something and just like that... we both had to know more. I was sold.

I started my health journey Feb 9, 2010... sick, without a menstrual cycle, seriously overweight and desperate! I got promising results in the 1st 10 days as I dropped 10 lbs! I was shocked, happy and encouraged. I started with a very meager budget and worked to get that up to be able to eat more and more foods.  I think it took maybe 8 months for my period to rev up … by 11/10 I was on a consistent cycle, my skinned began to clear, waistline began to show, I was told I was glowing by friends and family. Best part was that I knew I was on my way to becoming a real girl...woman. I so wanted to be a mother.
Hubby and I began to practice more often the recipe to making a baby and I began to show signs of having a healthy female system. I think I should mention that I stopped catching colds or even the flu when I started taking SR and eating healthy (cutting meat to practically zero). I lost 55lbs +by eating the SR foods consistently, choosing a better eating structure and by participating in the Biggest Winner (now called the Smart Food Club) most of 2011. (Not always easy but definitely worth it).

In March 2012 I suddenly came down with what felt like the Flu from hell.... I slept for 2 days straight and nothing would help it. I was baffled. I thought that it must have been something terrible going around to have caught me... I hadn’t been sick since the end of 2008. Nausea followed and hubby encouraged me to take a preggie test... the 1st was a dud (or so I thought) but the second one... lit up like a Christmas tree...! We were Pregnant! After 10 years of marriage, prayers, tears, disappointments, pleadings with the Lord and just silence.. we were chosen. I still can hardly believe it. On January 19, 2013... I gave birth to a beautiful, healthy, bouncy baby boy named Mikael Lee. He has brought joy, love, and laughter but most of all ....hope.

Just a few minutes old
I’ve learned that God answers prayers differently than the way we pray them. That timing is everything and that I needed to clean my house (this temple in which I dwell) before someone could live in it and survive.

I’d like to thank the Lord God for sending me to SR, Dr. Chen for sharing his knowledge and expertise on dense whole food nutrition, for Dr. Patti for sticking with me on this journey, for Elaine for seeing a problem and creating the Biggest Winner Program to help me and so many others become winners at weight loss.

Garlic Mushroom Potato Cakes over Black Beans

Easy enough recipe! Very tasty and a wonderful change from the everyday lunch or dinner! You'll need:

4 mid size red potatoes or what you've got
3 cloves of garlic (chopped coarsely)
6 oz mushroom...variety (chopped coarsely)
olive oil
1 small egg beaten
2 tbsp of flour
salt
pepper
cayenne pepper

Boil potatoes, peel , mash and put aside.
In a pan, saute mushrooms and garlic in olive oil.
Mix saute into potatoes and add egg. Combine thoroughly. Add seasonings.
Make potato balls (about the size of a large golf ball) and flatten. Roll in flour.

Heat olive oil in skillet to hot and place cakes in. Cook until golden on both sides and serve immediately.

Really good over a nice spinach leaf salad, tomatoes, green onions and ginger honey balsamic vinegar or atop of a  tasty bowl of black beans garnished with cilantro.

Bon Apetit!

Found another picture!

So I found another picture of the old me today... randomly on facebook. I honestly can not believe that was me. I really don't recognize myself... it's like it's a picture of an older sister or maybe an aunt but not me. Crazy! Ken even said that he just didn't realize that I was that big... it never seemed like it. But now that a lot of the girth is gone, it's a trip to look back and see what once was.

It's been a little while since I last wrote. I have had a few struggles since the last post but mostly been maintaining my new weight (no weight gain... Thank GOD!) and working on my exercise routine.

We bought an elliptical machine and I love it but it does take a little effort to be consistent. I have to admit... this picture will be my new motivation! I have come so far since this picture... almost 50lbs lost! OMGosh! I can not ever let this happen again... I look so very sad too.... I don't  I look this sad anymore.

(In the background of what was suppose to be a Thanksgiving celebration, is melted butter in a small dish for the cornbread cake I probably made and me holding a cup of liquid sugar poison.)

My Nut Allergy...

Well being new to the area of Encinitas, we have ventured out a few times to the 101 for some great atmosphere and food. Sadly this wasn't the case at St Germaines.

I eat a mostly veg/vegan menu and was pleased that they had some vegan friendly items. I asked for the server to check for soy in the veggie burger... I expected him to come back with the verdict for my choices but he emerged with both orders assuring me that there was no soy in the sandwich. Two bites in, I was in trouble.. nausea settled in quickly. The server, nowhere to be found, I asked another server to check if there where nuts in the veggie burger. She returns shortly with our server right on her heels comfirming that yes, there were walnuts in the sandwich. What?! No where on the menu did it state that there were nuts in the veggie burger. I was really disappointed. It really could've been a bad scene for me and the restaurant. My allergy to nuts is no joke. BUT.... thanks to Sunrider, the build up of toxins are leaving my body and I survived the incident... I SURVIVED! (This was huge!)
A very nice woman at the restaurant went and got me some benadryl (though I didn't need to take it surprisingly), she really cared for me.
I wrote this on Yelp and got a response back from a former food server who didn't agree with my # of stars (I gave them 2 because it was polite to do so) for the restaurant. Whatever! She did make a good point though, since I can not trust for people to be careful for me I have to be careful for myself and ask if there are nuts in  things like a veggie burger... Who puts NUTS into a VEGGIE burger anyways??!?!!! I will take her advice but the rest... well she knows what she can do with it... :) (Hehehe It's all good y'all.... LOL! It's all good)!

Got a joke for ya!

A woman, eating a very dense whole food diet, was using the bathroom. The smell offended her terribly. As she was washing her hands and quickly trying to leave the little toilet closet, she wondered aloud, "Whoa! What in high heaven did I eat?!" Just then, she got her answer as she heard the voice of an angel state,"You didn't eat that up here!"

Hahaha... it's good to laugh at yourself from time to time. All jokes aside though, I had to ask why that was. For the past week, I had been experiencing a fluctuation in my movements. They have been more often and more fragrant (not in a good way). The answer I received was eye opening... The Sunrider NBC basics had discovered a plot of land (my imagination at work here) in my digestive tract or colon that had not been turned over for sometime. The words my source used were... "Marion, that is something very old that is being cleansed from your body". WHAT?!! I almost can't imagine that anything could have been that old in me when I am an on time kinda girl (regular).
In doing some research, I found that even though we may be regular in our waste elimination, that the walls of the colon can still have old waste sticking to it. I found this information on it during a web search:

Over time old waste/toxins may build up within the folds of your intestinal wall. Observational evidence suggests this is the result of excessive mucus secretions, stuck food particles, environmental toxins, constipation, etc.

I have to admit, though I have been seriously stinking in that department lately, I am sure glad that it is leaving out of my body and not in. Thank you Sunrider Calli! (Calli is the dense whole food nutrition that feeds the lymphatic system in the body to help us eliminate they way we should).
Knowing that this is a touchy subject for many, I had to start off with a joke (I wrote it myself BTW) but seriously, eliminating waste from our bodies is no joking matter. Think of it this way, if we are constantly putting groceries into our refrigerators but are never taking out the trash... the whole place would stink to high heaven! The same premise applies here. As much as we put into our bodies, what the body can not use has to be emptied out. If not, it just becomes a playground for disease, infections and sicknesses even cancer.
Think about it, comment me on it but do something about it!

I usually....

....only post recipes and food on my recipe page but I just had to share with you our delicious din din tonight.
It's was a really good veggie sandwich that I constructed out of soft ciabatta bread (whole wheat flour and with no soy.. yay!), fresh spinach, sauteed (in a lil EVOO) garlic, onions, mushrooms, red and green bell peppers, zucchini, sliced heirloom tomatoe from our garden, a few jarred artichoke hearts with the juice and some organic mustard.
The apple slices represent the fries. Apples are a great filler and source of fiber. We love apples!
I'm sharing this on my front page with hopes of sharing how simple food can be when it's left to it's simplicity. Though this isn't raw Vegan but it's very tasty and only cooked to a slight tenderness not a mush. The crunch was still very present. The artichoke hearts had a consistency of swiss cheese. When I asked Ken what he thought of that, he replied, "It just tasted really complete." Yep! He was satisfied!!!
Just eat simply people! It doesn't take a lot of flash, whistles or even bells to make a wonderfully delicious and satisfying meal.

Thanks for stopping by!

So I was playing a game on Facebook...

... called Baking Life. I think I need to confess right now, I am not a baker. I don't particularly like to bake but I have been known in the past to definitely enjoy some baked goods!
Ok, getting back to the story... I began playing this game on FB called Baking Life where you have to build this cute little bakery and then stock it full of baked goods, sell them to make a profit to be able to buy more things to make your bakery cuter, hipper.. etc and get these little crazy hype and style points. Really, thinking about it know, this played on my gluttony and vanity traits so well. I love to eat, serve and be as fashionable as possible. UGH,  way too clever! Well anyways, I noticed that I have been craving something sweet everyday for the past 7 days.. I've been playing for 8. I wanted a little chocolate this day, then I wanted a little ice cream that day and so on. I didn't really put 2 and 2 together until I found myself nibbling on a plain buttermilk donut at a meeting yesterday (OMG... I was in back to back to back meetings yesterday!!) everyone at the meeting was remarking on how they never see me eat donuts anymore.... What was I doing??! Had I been subliminally brainwashed to want sweets or had I did this to myself??? I think a little of both. Now anyone on the outside, looking in could see the writing on the wall... what was I doing playing a game called 'Baking Life'... didn't I realize that it would lead me down a road of regret? (Ken laughed when I finally figured it out and confessed... he too thought it was strange)
Well, needless to say, I have since quit my little online 'Baking Life' addiction and am seeking entertainment elsewhere... reading The China Study, watching a movie or just going for a walk. Funny how the brain works.. all you have to do is play in an area of taboo and you can find yourself right in the middle of the murky waters of it.

OMG! Banana Ice Cream???

So today I was feeling a little sweet tooth come on and I just needed a lil' something to satisfy that craving... I already had my NuPlus (which I LOVE!) but this craving had a little bite to it. I remembered a recipe in my new Raw Vegan Recipe Book by Ani Phyo's Raw Food Essentials (Love this book!) for ice cream made from frozen bananas. I really wanted to try it and what better time then the present, I just so happened to have 3 ripe, peeled frozen bananas in the freezer.
Now I have to admit, I didn't think it was going to work because the banana halves I placed in the food processor just spun around, giving little if any creamy goodness but I proceeded onward. We (me and Ken) decided to put the chunks into our powerhouse blender and see if that would work... the best it offered me was to break down the big chunks into little chunks... that would work!
We transferred the bananas back into the food processor, added a little water and watched the magic happen right before our eyes. It instantly changed into the creamy sweet goodness that I was seriously thinking I would never have again (in good conscious anyway).Honestly, I have been secretly mourning the death of ice cream in my life ever since I decided to change the way I eat and look at food.
Thinking back on it now, ice cream was never really been my friend. Being a glutton for punishment as I can be, can be very satisfying when you think you are getting what you want, better yet, what you need....NOT! Ice cream gave me neither of those. In all actuality it has left me gassy to the extinct of sickness, severely bloated, fatigue and straight chunkiness. Sad really. How we formulate relationships with things that are not relative or worthy of relationship.. it's just food and made to satisfy and strengthen us, that is all. Funny how I finally get that now.
My mother would tell me, "Timing is everything Marion." Those words, I have kept with me because of how very true they are. How many times have I said, "Man, if someone had of told me about eating a dense whole food diet 10+ years ago, where would I be?!" only to realize that I would probably be in the same place. I wasn't ready to hear it then.... I was quite sick enough to comprehend it. I was too busy proving to myself and others that I was a good cook and could flip your wig with some delicious and decadent dishes that make you wanna kick a puppy (those are Ken's words not mine).
Knowing now that my health is my wealth and my family and friends are my treasures has made such an extreme difference in my outlook on life. I have changed and am changing daily, for the better. Thank you Lord Jesus, Thank you Dr. Patti, Thank you Sunrider!

Recent happenings...

Hi all! It has been a LONG time since I last wrote. Things have been really crazy for me these last 6-7 months. I change jobs and so I changed responsibilities, which changed my amount of free time I have. In essence, it has affected my journal time.
Well after the move to North San Diego County, I discovered that it is a lot cooler up here... in the winter, it is just down right cold! This has a very hard affect on me and my eating. I began to eat more cooked foods and adding meat (Phil's BBQ baby back ribs had me by the throat and I was loving it!) back into the menu. That is when I really started seeing my weight escalate. I even began to eat more dairy (some of the best pizza places are just .5 miles from my home). It was really getting out of control, I was gaining weight and feeling pretty awful about it. I never stopped eating my Sunrider dense whole food nutrition but I really needed to get a handle on what I was putting in my mouth and to understand what those types of foods (dairy and meat) were doing to my body.
There is a great program through Sunrider called "The Biggest Winner". It's actually developed by one of the successful Sunriders in my group, Elaine Smith. This 7 week program has seriously changed my life! I am on my 2nd go round and am planning a 3rd when it comes up in August. The difference in what I eat to how I think about food is like night and day compared to they way it once was. I think I was eating what I thought was right rather then eating what I learned was right for my body. My body is talking and I am listening... I can actually hear what it wants.
I have learned so much and will be sharing as time goes on. I have made the decision to become a health coach to all those who are looking for someone to help them with their journey to better health. I am excited by all the information I have learned and am putting it all to the test in my own life. Experience has been a great teacher.

Green Smoothie Anyone?

I think if I weren't such an outgoing type personality that I wouldn't find out about anything! So there I am in my local fresh produce store shopping for my fabulous Vegan lifestyle and a rather, fit attractive woman was beside me carefully selecting a variety of dark green leaf vegetables and placing them in her basket. I looked over because she was picking a small amount of so many different types (mustard, kale, collard, spinach, chard etc.) I just had to know what she was planning on doing with such a small amount of so many leaves. She simply answered, "I make Green Smoothies with them." and kept right on picking away. "Green what??!" "Green Smoothies." " Really?! How did you hear about that??" "I read a book called 'The Green Smoothie Revolution'." and on her way she went with a smile.
I was determined to remember the title so as soon as I got home, I googled it and there it was, a book about Green Smoothie's 'The Green Smoothie Revolution: The Radical Leap Towards Natural Health by Victoria Boutenko'. I decided to purchase one on Amazon.com and when it arrived I dove right in. I was surprised how very truthful and clear cut the reading was. I didn't read any weird chants or hippie way of doing things in the book but just a honest truth about a woman and her family who were very sick that met a lady who helped her start the on green smoothies and how they all got better together. Diabetes went away, rashes cleared up, blood pressures lowered, weight was loss and so on (don't want be a Spoiler).
I was intriged and decided to give it a try. I don't have the fancy high speed blender but what I do have works just fine and the smoothie's taste great! We love them! I mix my NuPlus right into the batch and away I go. I have crazy energy and better mental clarity and I just feel better.
I am realizing that we can take better care of our selves if we would just eat they way the Father designed. Everything we need has been already given to us and we make the mistake trying to reinvent what has already been perfected and we are sick, infertile, cancerous, exhausted, angry and dying. I wish with all my heart that I could stand at the highest point with the loudest bullhorn and tell everybody to "WAKE UP!!". We are going through some very unnecessary procedures, we are malnourished and refuse to change. Yes, change is hard but it is so very worth it.
Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind. Roman 12:2
A new mind, a transformation and a change must occur now or we will die without ever really living in this life. Spiritually, Nutritionally, Humanly. We need a change.

I also recommend for those who like the facts: Green for Life by Victoria Boutenko  Both of these books are excellent, informative and easy to read.

Tam's Thai on Adams Avenue... Black Rice??

So Ken and I went for a walk to Adams Avenue one evening 2 weeks ago. Kind alike an art trip as he is always seeking out new suppliers and classes to help hone his skills and his teaching knowledge. We decided to look for a place to grab something to eat which is always a challenge as most restaurants cater to "meat eaters". I always find myself getting more creative then what is on the menus hoping to inspire a change. ( I digress)...
Anyways we stumbled upon this very friendly, smiling face Asian woman beckoning for us to come her way and give her a try... her words. We obliged... it was a very small little restaurant with lavender painted walls and lots of little nick knacks to prove that a woman ran the shop. We had her curry potato rolls with this amazing black fried rice with NO MSG (so very important, please read this!). We were so very impressed with her.

Tam came out twice with a package of rice, showing me the label and where she got it... really encouraging me to get some Black Rice.. to make it at home and to stop eating white rice which has no real nutritional value in it. Not only did she make a mean fried rice (no eggs of course!) but she was talking and teaching health and telling us about how the sizes of people are changing because of the lack of the proper nutrients and she claimed Black Rice was a key source of these nutrients. I had to try it!

We now eat black rice mixed with a multi grain rice that she strongly suggested called Mogami 8 Blended Whole Grain Rice. There is Short Grain, Long Grain, Brown Rice, Black Rice, Maple Rice, Red Rice, Red Whet and Barley in it. I mix this rice with more Black Rice and some Calrose (because I have so much of it).  It has a meaty smell when cooked and a hearty taste. I made my own fried rice with it (not like Tam's but good) and we like it.

I had to share this with you. Please read the MSG and Black Rice articles... you will be so informed. I love to hear your comments on this.

It's been a long while...

Yes, it's been a long while since last I wrote. So much has happened since April 24... my last entry. Glad to say that things are getting better.
Since my last entry, I have been concentrating on my vegan diet and understanding what being a vegan is all about and how this lifestyle change has not only affected my personal menu but it has also affected how I socialize, where I spend my time (Henry's mostly) and how I interact with food.
I have been steady on my Calli (missing a day here or there but always getting myself back on the horse... my day doesn't feel right without it) but not so much on the NuPlus until very recently. I am thankful to be getting back to my routine of concentrated nutrition. Lord knows I need it!
I am glad to also say that I have maintained the 25lbs of weight lose from earlier this year and now that I am back on track & will be looking forward to the next 25 gone! I have also taken a more active role in my recovery by walking just a little more and I bought a Shake Weight...Ha!! I like it though... I am still trying to get use to the odd motion of it in some of the exercises but for the most part... 6mins is a very little sacrifice for firmer looking and feeling arms. I will post pics in a day or so of my before and then 30 days later my after... hoping for the best!

Emotional..

These have been some very emotional days for me recently as lot of changes are happening all around me. My body is slimming at an incredible rate (though sometimes I still feel like it's not fast enough... impatience, go figure), work is piling up on me and I now I gotta move on it but my motivation lately has been very low towards it... I blame sunrider for it! If I didn't feel so doggone good, I wouldn't want to take long walks and be in the sun all the time (though the sun has been here and there lately with it's rays, when it comes out I'm all in it!) and etc meaning, it's way too much to go into right now.
I did have a break through yesterday as I went on my 1st 10 mile walk in years... when I was a kid and had more ambition then money, I walked everywhere gladly. Honestly I was just glad that I could go so walking wasn't an issue but as I got older and got more $.. I was blessed with cars and now a big honking truck... I hardly ever walk. Times have changed, I am walking and 10 miles no less.
Tonight, I plan on going to my new Belly Dancing class... it's really a lot of fun. I am hoping to melt more of my core away as with all the shrinkage it is truly holding on for dear life and seems to be looking more prominent but I know that's because everything else is melting away.
I will post a picture soon. Still don't have a working traditional camera yet but it's in the works!

Funny how...

As I washed dishes this morning, a few random thoughts went flying around in my head about then and now instances. Like....

  • Isn't funny how back in the old days (like 1500s -1800s), girth was a sign of wealth and well being whereas those who were slim and fit were mostly those who worked hard in the fields (and such) and ate only vegetables and wild game if they could find it.
  • Isn't funny how sugar was for the elite and wealthy only.. they were the only ones who could afford it. Ken and I were talking about that and he said,"Yeah for the birthday parties they were lucking to get a fine hen and fresh veggies for the celebration let alone a homemade pudding or tart." Tart doesn't sound good to me at all! (remember Chai Tea wa only for royalty until the early 1900s when the secret was out.. that's just sugar, spice and milk)
I find it funny how, what was once a symbol of status is now a symbol of poverty, for it is reported that obesity is a poor people or poverty line thing. It's so crazy to go into a grocery store and pay $1.50 for an organic head of lettuce but pay only .79 cents for one that has been sprayed to death with pesticides... don't those pesticides cost more money then just water and compost?? I really wonder what's really going??!
I recently met with the editor of Edible San Diego and listened to her explain to me the real cost of food... that's interesting, I thought I was paying the real cost. I see what it really costs when it leaves my pocket each and every time! But as I listened I began to understand. If food was priced at what it really cost to produce it, I believe that line of what the?! would be better defined and I believe we would all look at food differently.
Food Inc talks about how the manufacturing companies pay the farmers to over produce corn, well below the cost to manufacture it so that it can be used to make a whole array of products that you would never suspect would have corn in it... durcell batteries, coke soda, twinkies, cows, chickens, fish, pigs... etc. In return, we see the meat getting bigger and bigger and our waistlines expanding right along with them because it's all a filler... fluff. We can not live on fillers and fluffs we must have sustaining foods... we all know that.
The consensus is, pay more for the right foods now to have a better life or pay a lot more later for your medications and hospitals and specialists to try to heal from what could have been prevented by eating the right regenerating foods.

I love what J.W. (Sunrider Officinado)  says, "We spend our health to make our wealth and then spend our wealth to get back our health."
I think that sums it up perfectly.

Happy Wednesday to you all!

Eggs and other things...

An interesting tidbit of information I received at a class I took this weekend. The speaker said,"....eggs are the menstrual cycle of a chicken." Out of everything I learned this weekend, that stuck oh so well in my memory banks. Ugh!! I really mean UGH!!! The idea that we eat the menstrual cycle of any animal is a little gross, to say the least.
As I ponder on this, I wonder why... all throughout my life I would just stop eating eggs... wouldn't want them even cooked in my presence... oh, especially if I was sleeping then was woke up by the smell of eggs... you definitely got a grumpy girl that morning. Well, that's it.. ! It's becoming more and more apparent that I will be digging my heels into this Vegan lifestyle even more. NO milk, NO cheese and NO EGGS! (period... no pun intended)
I find it funny how we (I) discover more and more information about the processed foods we eat and how very harmful chemical processed foods are or even repulsive in origin and try to share that info, that many people just don't want to hear about it. They are completely content with their ignorance. How is that? Why would anyone want to remain dumb (there was just no other way to word that!)?
... if it were bad, why would they sell it to me. Wake up people!.. the government knows just how deadly smoking is and even tell you or offer you aids to quit (which is just another ploy to get your money) and it's still legal to sell cigarettes, cigars and pipe tobacco. What?!! What is really going on here? It is so obvious yet everyone, including myself have been blinded. Blinded by what you say?? Trusting the untrustworthy!
If you don't take anything from this post, please take an interest in where your foods are coming from, how they are processed and who's preparing them. Get an education and don't be so afraid of change. Change may hurt, maybe uncomfortable and even suck in transition but it can be oh so good.

My change has come and I am so glad for it!

Week 6

It's been a few days since my last post. I've been feeling really tired for the past 4 days. It started when I added the Fortune Delight to the mix. That's the stuff that cleans the blood of free radicals and toxins in the fat. The foods have been really working in my system and we know when we sleep that's when the body can really repair itself so there you have it.... I am under some heavy repairs. Today hasn't been so bad.. I am feeling more energized and more eager to wrestle around with my hubby so we both see that as a good sign. (hehe)

I was driving earlier this week, I saw an older woman walking with some difficulty like there was more going on then I could see and a thought came over me... I wondered how many health problems I could be avoiding now that I am taking Whole Food Nutrition. I am excited about wanting to share and eager for my results to be great but I am really having a heart change that I just didn't expect. I sincerely want to tell everyone I know about this so that they can have this great opportunity too, to be healed by the food of the land. What a concept! It's just something that I have never heard in the same sentence before... that I can be healed by what foods I put in my mouth. It is almost mind blowing to think just how many drugs have been crammed down my throat by me or by the doctor trying to take care of this or that when all I needed was nutrition! UGH!! I want to be mad but I just can't (like I said, feeling pretty good today)... I don't think many people know about this and the ones that do that can make a difference won't because pharmaceutical militia is the Kingpin of the arena.
Oh well, enough of my ranting.... I am feeling crazy good today and want to get a jump on my day. The picture above was taken of me this morning. I am 15lbs lighter all together. I seem to losing more inches then actual pounds lately. The process is slow but at least it's moving... I am thankful.
